After working with the Kitchen Crashers TV program, it opened the doors for us to work with some of the other ‘Crashers’ family of TV shows that dominated much of the active TV space for nearly 20 seasons! House Crashers with host Josh Temple provided us an opportunity to design and build not only Kitchen’s, but lots of other unique spaces like outdoor patios, family rooms, living rooms, dining areas and even garage ‘man-caves’. This was also a great venue for Brenna to not only showcase her talents in ‘designing on a budget’ but it was also a great show in which Brenna and K Squared received full design credit for the projects as well. Josh Temple was hands down our favorite TV Host to work with. A little TV show secret about Josh; even when the show was finished for the day, and cameras stopped rolling, many of us had to continue working late into the evening to make sure we were ready for the following day and the production crew. Josh would ‘wrap’ the camera and production crew, throw on his nail bags and work with the construction crew until we were all done for the night. He never left before we were all done, he worked on framing, mechanical, flooring… some of our best memories working on the TV show were some of these late nights with Josh. He’s a class act, an absolute character and makes everyone laugh. He’s naturally a high energy guy and was the main reason our crew was able to survive through nearly 16- and 18-hour work days on some of the shows. We had a lot of fun working with Josh and sincerely appreciate all he’s done with and for K Squared design and construction.
