A craftsman style, open concept remodel in
El Dorado Hills
This split-level home needed a major rework to expand living space and flow. Prior to the remodel, interior walls compartmentalized nearly 5 separate spaces. After removing most of the interior walls, relocating the kitchen, and re-supporting the roof load with a new support beam, these same 5 areas, have now become one contiguous space, still with separate functions. Now people in the kitchen can converse with family & friends in the dining room, or family room. The nook space is now occupied with a massive island, which seats 4 people comfortably. A custom coffee bar and a French door oven are just two of the new features in this space. Craftsman woodworking details adorn the new columns and beams, while patterned tile accents give this new space some modern flare.
