Privacy Policy

K Squared Construction ("K Squared", "we", "us") is a design-build remodeling and custom home company in Granite Bay, California. This policy explains what information we collect through ksquaredconstruction.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

• Guide requests. When you ask for one of our free guides, we collect your email address so we can send it.
• Calls, emails and texts. When you call, email or text us, we keep your name, phone number, email address and what you tell us about your project.
• Discovery calls. Booking a call opens our scheduling page on Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy and passes them to us.
• Clients. If we work together, we keep the contact, property and project information needed to design, permit, build and warranty your project.

Information collected automatically

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, the device and browser, and whether someone taps our phone number, books a call or requests a guide. Google sets cookies to do this. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
• Meta Pixel. If you accept advertising cookies in the notice on our site, we use the Meta Pixel so we can show our work to past visitors on Facebook and Instagram and see whether those ads lead to calls. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel does not load.
• Embedded map. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies.

How we use your information

• To answer your questions, send the guides you ask for, and schedule and hold your discovery call.
• To follow up about your project, and to send occasional emails such as our newsletter. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To deliver and support the work we do for clients, including warranty service.
• To understand and improve the site, and to measure and show our advertising.

Advertising audiences

We may share a list of past clients' email addresses or phone numbers with Meta so our ads can reach them, or so they can be left out of ads meant for new customers. The list is converted into scrambled codes in the browser before it is uploaded, and Meta uses it only to match accounts and then deletes it. Email addresses entered in our free-guide form are not used this way. To be left off, email us at the address below.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — website hosting, email and text delivery, scheduling, accounting, project management, analytics and advertising — and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

• Decline advertising cookies in the notice on our site, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email with the link at the bottom of it.
• Reply STOP to any text message.
• Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing the address below. We will respond within 45 days.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for as long as our licensing, warranty and tax obligations require. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for the purposes above.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
