Alignment marks and side notches
Grooves across the face meet notches on both side edges. Match them stencil to stencil to keep letters and numbers in a straight row, or line them up with a floor line or snapped chalk line in the middle of a room.

Each stencil is about 9 in. × 9 in., on a base about 1/8 in. thick, with one handle about 1 in. tall.

Center notch
A notch on the bottom edge sits right on the stencil's center line. Make a quick mark on the floor, find it through the notch, and the stencil is centered on your mark.
Rear tape-measure notch
A notch on the back of the turned-up handle sits on the center line. Pull a tape to it and slide the stencil into place, without dragging your tape through fresh paint on the face.
Radiused rear corners
The rounded corner where the handle turns up lets stencils stack flat and nest tightly against each other, so a full kit stores and carries as one neat stack.

Not every design can be made into a stencil. It has to be simple enough to turn into a clean SVG file, so detailed logos usually won't work. We'll make every attempt to make yours work, but the more complex the design, the more likely we won't be able to fill that order.
