This is the second major project we have hired K2 to complete. Their communication is exceptional and beyond rare in the construction industry. They are very detail oriented, from planning through completion, every aspect was managed according to plan.

The whole K2 team is a joy to work with. At the beginning of the project Rusty and Brenna plan and explain every detail meticulously, making sure you are fully aware of the scope, materials and timeline. From the start of the actual work, the Project Manager Jordan keeps you informed through every step, keeping any subs tight to the schedule and problem solving in real time as necessary. Jordan’s attention to detail is unmatched and he makes sure the work is under constant review and being completed at the highest standards. If subcontractors were doing work, a K2 employee was onsite at least once a day to maintain quality control.

We just love the whole team so much and can’t recommend them enough. They are top notch and are able to deliver on all their promises. I am super creative and have asked them for design elements that were atypical (teak shower floor with a flush transition to slate flagstone in the Primary bathroom) and they use their high engineering and design skills to not just make it work, but make it gorgeous!

K Squared is everything you could want in a design and build company. They did a major kitchen remodel for us, where walls were removed, a new island was built, and more space was created in our laundry and pantry areas.

Brenna is a talented designer, and we couldn’t be happier with the design and materials she chose for our kitchen. Rusty was honest and upfront about the details and costs, so we knew what to expect ahead of time. Rusty communicated all of the details to us before the demo and we were well prepared. The project manager, Jordan, is an excellent communicator and he kept us in the loop with every detail of our project. We knew ahead of time which subcontractors were coming into our home and what work was going to be done.

All of our questions and concerns were handled immediately and with care. We spoke to each subcontractor, and they had great things to say about K Squared. Our remodel was an overall painless and enjoyable experience for us. Working with K Squared was truly a blessing.

A luxury experience from start to finish. K Squared team did incredible job planning an accurate schedule and budget; managing and monitoring the work every day so we didn’t have to; resolving problems without drama or stress. In particular they provided attention to detail and high standards for quality. Great respect was shown for our experience as the homeowners living through the disruption. No regrets.

The team at K Squared is phenomenal -- there was someone onsite almost everyday (either Jordan, John, or Rusty) from K Squared personally reviewing the project process and updating the owner daily. There was a proposed daily schedule of the entire project and it was adhered to almost exactly. The project was completed exactly when anticipated, despite having to deal with a few surprises along the way (as is always the case in a remodel). We would absolutely recommend K Squared again.

We are very happy with the end result, and what K Squared was able to do with the scope of the project. We contacted numerous contractors, and none of them could handle the entire project themselves.

The first meeting through the finish, the process was seamless. K Squared Construction was able to handle the full scope of the project, and we did not have to call any other contactors into the project to complete the other aspects of the job.

The K Squared team communicated on every step of the process. We did not know how the finish project would turn out, and it turned out far better than we would have ever thought!

This was my first time doing a remodel/addition of this type and I knew I wanted to find a business that would make it as easy as possible. K-Squared has given us an updated home that we absolutely love! I really am still amazed everyday at the changes in our home and how beautiful it is. We have a 1950’s home that had a couple previous additions and some serious funk. The best compliment I get and we can give is that all of the work that was done looks like it’s always been that way. A total demo would be required to fix all of the challenges in our home but Rusty & Brenna were able to add great space, flow, functionality and beauty to a home that went from weird to wow in so many areas...People who’ve seen our house for years have a hard time remembering what it was like before because it looks so great!

From the beginning to the end, our process to design and build was fantastic! Rusty & Brenna are a great team and have created a wonderful team to support their vision in the remodeling space. Communication was thorough and timely. Jordan, the project manager, transitioned to our main contact once construction began - He’s a great blend of personal and professional like they are and really made us feel like he was there to be our advocate. As I watched friends go through their own remodel processes at the same time, I felt even more appreciative of the ease and seamlessness of our project. There is never going to be a 100% perfect experience...mistakes and imperfections happened but throughout the process, I knew we were well taken care of and all things were addressed...often before I was aware of any issue.

We are so happy with our addition. It was exactly the space we needed and it seems like it should have been part of the house all along. We knew quality would be as exceptional as our previous remodel of our kitchen, living, and dining space. Derrick was great and I know Arya will miss seeing him everyday! We had a very positive experience working with the team at KSquared. We completed a full kitchen/great room remodel, including significant demo of existing brickwork around the fireplace, structural work, and all the fits and finishes of a new kitchen. The design process with Brenna was easy and fun, and the construction process was quick and completed early! All the subs were friendly and respectful of our space, and they left the job site clean and organized. I really appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail - the joints and the places where things connect (cabinets, trim, paint, tile, etc). It’s a little thing, but I especially love the backsplash tile trim pieces that Brenna selected. They pull everything together and give that intentional, finished feel to the space. I love how light and bright everything is - even our skylight is showing off now! We got a huge payoff from removing the existing brick around the fireplace, along with a built-in brick bench and hearth spanning the length of the room. The new fireplace tile and mantle are stunning. We are already showing the space off to our neighbors and are thrilled to share it with anyone and everyone!

We took our time and the results were amazing. It definitely was an ongoing conversation for all of us, partly because we were not sure what we wanted. The end result is amazing and the process was worth it. We REALLY enjoyed the conversation and the help, they were kind and professional. Tracie gelled well with Brenna and the choices she helped us make were just perfect. We liked the meetings down at the office where we could touch and see things.

K Squared, Rusty and Brenna, did an amazing job transforming our 1980's kitchen into the open floor plan kitchen of our dreams with an updated style. There were many ideas that came to the table, Brenna helped us to corral those for the initial design. K Squared implemented those ideas to create the features we desired. A Baker's Cabinet to allow for ease of cooking and baking projects and connecting wall to the living room with a built in bookshelf. The crew and company worked diligently to meet our expectations and present us with everything we wanted. Thanks to all at K-Squared!

K Squared did an amazing job updating our downstairs media/kids room. They listened to what I wanted and delivered way beyond what I expected. I would hire them again and again.
