Two islands, each four feet by ten — one painted, one in black walnut. The walnut island was designed and built by Rusty Krouse himself. The second carries a custom wine refrigerator and a built-in ice maker.
The hood is black iron and black walnut, designed and built by K Squared rather than specified out of a catalog. You will not find another one like it online, because there is not another one.
Two different tiles run through the room, and the floating shelves are custom black walnut to match the island and the hood.
